Emily S. MacDonald, 103, of Zelienople, formerly of Slippery Rock, died Sunday morning at the Valencia Woods Nursing Center.

Born in Pittsburgh, May 30, 1904, she was the daughter of William and Rachel Mason Schauweker.

Mrs. MacDonald and her husband owned and operated Rock Falls Park in Slippery Rock in the 1940s and 1950s.

She was a member of the Crafton Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and belonged to AARP.

Surviving are a son, A. James MacDonald and his wife, Barbara, of Zelienople; and granddaughters, Rachel MacDonald of Pittsburgh, and Lori MacDonald of Madison, Wis.

Her husband, Albert J. MacDonald, whom she married April 16, 1929, died July 21, 1999. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Schauweker.

<B>MACDONALD</B> — Friends of Emily S. MacDonald, who died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, will be received from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Funeral services will follow at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Brown, pastor of Hope Lutheran Church, Cranberry Township.
