Willard T. 'Spence' Spencer

Willard T. "Spence" Spencer, 79, of Sarver died Thursday at Alle-Kiski Medical Center.

Born Aug. 14, 1928, in Wilbur, W. Va., he was the son of Howard and Gertrude Cumbridge Spencer.

He worked as a truck driver for Air Products, retiring in 1991 and also had worked at Freeport Lawn and Garden. He was a member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church, Armstrong Lodge #239 F&AM in Freeport, and the Tarentum Moose Lodge. He enjoyed bowling.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred McNally Spencer, whom he married June 3, 1954; two sons, David (Cindy) Spencer of Marwood and Roger (Lauren) Spencer of Harmar Township; a daughter Joanne Laszlo Vesztergom of Sarver; two brothers, Norman Spencer of Ambridge and Vance Spencer of Ambridge; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother and a sister.

<B>SPENCER</B>— Friends of Willard T. "Spence" Spencer, who died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Buffalo Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David Hupp officiating.Burial will follow in Buffalo Presbyterian Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 678 Sarver Road, Sarver, PA 16055.
