Elmina Bhame Lewis, 96, of Zelienople, formerly of East Liberty, died Monday morning at LAS Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.

Born July 14, 1911, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of Ira W. and Wltha E. Weller Bhame.

She was a retired secretary for Gulf Research in Harmarville.

Surviving are a sister, Ruth Wilson of Zelienople; two brothers, I. Paul Bhame of Mars and William N. Bhame of Clearwater, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Lewis, who she married in January 1937; and a brother, Omar Bhame.
