Winifred Cunningham
Winifred L. Cunningham, 81, of Butler died at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia, Cabot.
Born in Butler, Oct. 27, 1926, she was the daughter of Edgar L. and Ida L. Dittman Cunningham.
Miss Cunningham was an active member of the former Grace Lutheran Church, now Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the choir, the WELCA group, and she served as council secretary for years. She was a life member of the VFW Post 249 Auxiliary and a former member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and Meals on Wheels.
Miss Cunningham was a 1944 graduate of Butler High School and retired as a secretary for the Nationwide Insurance Co.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Cunningham; a niece, Kathleen Cunningham Salsgiver of Butler; a nephew, Kevin E. Cunningham of Meadville; three great-nieces, and two great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a great-niece.
