Wagner opening headquarters for campaign against Kelly
Justin Wagner, the Democratic candidate for the 16th Congressional District, is hosting a grand opening of his campaign headquarters at 127 N. Diamond St. in Mercer from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Wagner, of Greenville in Mercer County, is challenging longtime Republican incumbent Mike Kelly to represent the district, which encompasses Butler, Crawford, Erie, Lawrence and Mercer counties and part of Venango County. Wagner is an Iraq War veteran and an engineer.
The headquarters will serve as his campaign’s central hub for volunteer organizing, community outreach and voter engagement, according to his campaign.
Neighbors, supporters and volunteers are invited to stop by to meet Wagner, tour the new space and connect with the team and fellow supporters driving the campaign forward.
Food and refreshments will be provided at the event.
“This office is more than a headquarters … it’s a front door for the people of PA-16,” said Wagner. “Every conversation we have here, every volunteer who walks through that door, is part of building something bigger than one campaign. This is a new beginning for our district, and I want folks to come see it, meet our team and be part of it.”
