Millie Sinopoli

Millie Sinopoli, 86, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Tuesday morning at the Masonic Village at Sewickley.

Born Nov. 11, 1921, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Carmine and Pasqua (Ricci) Santillo.

She had worked for the Penn Hills School District for 25 years until she retired in 1999.

She was the widow of Henry A. Sinopoli, who she married April 15, 1944, and who died July 24, 2006.

Surviving is a son, Henry D. Sinopoli, and his wife Jocelyn (Howard) Sinopoli, of Butler.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, George, Claude, William, Wilfred, Albert and Nick Santillo; and three sisters, Edith Cellamare, Carrie Santillo, and Margaret Viscarelli.

<B>Sinopoli</B> — Family and friends of Millie Sinopoli, who died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, will gather from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.Cremation services are provided by the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy, in honor of Millie Sinopoli, and in honor of Joshua and Anna Rose Scurria, P.O. Box 1189, Prairieville, LA 70769.
