Elizabeth A. Waters
Elizabeth A. Peden Waters, 76, of Saxonburg, formerly of Avalon and Hampton Township, died Thursday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born in Pittsburgh, Aug. 25, 1931, she was the daughter of Murray and Louise Galbraith Peden.
She was a 1949 graduate of Avalon High School. In 1950, she married Charles N. Waters, and they raised their sons in Hampton Township, where they attended the Hampton United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are four sons, Charles N. Waters Jr. and his wife, Dana, of Valencia and Florida, Thomas Waters of Cambridge Springs, Robert Waters of Port Huron, Mich., and P. Andrew Waters and his wife, Nadine, of Gibsonia; a niece whom she helped raise, Betty Lou Linton of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Ernest Harold Peden of Avalon, Paul Peden of Texas and Ralph Peden of Wyoming; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles N. Waters; a son, Daniel Waters; a sister, Cecelia Devitt, and a brother, Murray Peden.

Peden Waters, who died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, where services will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev.
