Lincoln dealership closes

Cameron Jones is closing his Northland Lincoln dealership in Cranberry Township and consolidating at his Northland Ford dealership in Zelienople.
Owner focuses on Northland Ford

ZELIENOPLE — The Northland Ford dealership on Route 19 has a new lease on life as owner Cameron Jones consolidates his business there.

Jones bought the Ford dealership in 1996 and the Northland Lincoln dealership on Route 19 in Cranberry Township in 2003.

Now he is closing his Lincoln dealership

He said Ford is limiting the number of Lincoln dealerships in the Pittsburgh area, so now he will be focused on the Zelienople business.

“The strong friendships we've developed over the past several years serving our Northland Lincoln customers made this a difficult decision for us on a personal level,” Jones said. “But after careful consideration of customer demand across the region we felt we could better serve our customers' needs by growing our business up the road at Northland Ford.”

Bringing the two dealerships together has resulted in an employee base of about 50 at the Zelienople store.

Jones said the Ford dealership will continue to honor Lincoln warranties and to service Lincoln vehicles.

Ford owns the Lincoln lot, Jones said, adding the motor company plans to sell that property.

The official consolidation date is Friday, but Jones said the relocation is practically done.
