Bravo dave,, well put. janet, i welcome t boone and wind energy. ect. but lets get real. who can afford to buy an electric car or solar heating system. we need a short term fix and in time work the country into alternate fuels. yea lets invest into new tech and fuels. but the middle america i belong too would not be able to change overnight . offshore drilling ect would be a 10-20 year help , by then the next phase of energy should be more affordable.it takes time for an oil junkie to get weined off the black gold. i myself have been riding a small motorcycle and saving about 10 gallons of gas everyweek. also enjoy the ride, but the wallet is feeling better.8 bucks to fill up over 45 bucks. p.s im still voting for mckain and hope tom ridge is his running mate !!
