Margaret Ann Martin, 66, of Cranberry Township died Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot.

Born May 16, 1942, in South Normanton, England, she was the daughter of the late Lyndon and Margaret Langham Groom.

Since immigrating to the United States, Mrs. Martin was a homemaker but had previously been a children's counselor and nurse at a home for deprived and abused children in England. She was well liked with many good friends.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Martin, whom she married Feb. 11, 1959; her daughter, Jane Ann Balya of Rochester; one grandson, Richard Harry Balya of Cranberry Township; one brother, Peter Groom of England; and two sisters, Susan Hill and Lyn Sheldon, both of England.

<B>MARTIN</B> — Friends of Margaret Ann Martin, who died Thursday, July 3, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.</B>, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev.
