Robert E. Frederick, 78, of Sarver died Thursday at Sunnyview Home.

Born Feb. 9, 1930, in Braddock, he was the son of John and Anna Zeback Frederick.

He was retired from U.S. Steel Edgar Thompson Works and the Saxonburg Sintering Plant. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport.

Surviving are three sons, Gary Frederick and his wife, Barbara, of Butler, James Frederick and his wife, Patty, of Dallas, Texas, and Norman Frederick of Bentonville, Ariz.; a brother, Michael Frederick and his wife, Kathy, of Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Stacy Frederick Tate and her husband, Jay; and a grandson, Adam Frederick.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Hamilton Frederick, whom he married Aug. 3, 2003.
