Yolanda H. Cherol

Yolanda H. Cherol, 82, of Butler died Friday at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born June 29, 1926, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of Antonio and Helen Calabria Imperatore.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir. She volunteered at ElmCroft. She enjoyed painting, creating handmade ornaments and gardening.

Surviving are her son, Dr. Victor Charles Morrone of Butler, her two daughters, Dr. Elaine M. (Frank) Neal of Lyme, N.H., and Melanie (Philip M.) Kohley of Saxonburg; her six grandchildren, Jennifer H. (Matthew) Bates, Michelle R. (David) Rice, Kathleen V. Neal, Kristan A. (Andrew) Allen, Philip M. Kohley Jr., and Nickolas J. Kohley; five great-grandchildren, Jayna Bates, Ellie Bates, Josie Bates, Benjamin Rice, and Jason Rice; her brother, William Imperatore of Boone, N.C.; and her two stepdaughters, Margaret (Al) Cohen and Jane Cherol.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Dr. Victor E. Morrone; her second husband, Louis James Cherol; and one brother, Charles Imperatore.

<B>CHEROL</B> — Friends of Yolanda H. Cherol, who died Friday, July 25, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Roddy officiating.
