Henry Golebiewski

Henry "Hank" Golebiewski, 82, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died Friday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Pittsburgh, Nov. 7, 1925, he was the son of the late Andrew and Laura Tomazewski Golebiewski.

He was a retired mechanical contractor for W.R. Davies Mechanical in Aspinwall.

He was a member of the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was an avid golfer.

Surviving are three sons, David Golebiewski and his wife, Judi, of O'Hara Township, Dennis Golebiewski and his wife, Linda, of Plum and Gary Golebiewski and his wife, Leah, of Valencia; a stepson, Russell Pfeifer of Valencia; two sisters, Eileen Roczko of Polish Hill and Dorothy Cznarowicz of O'Hara Township; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and his loving dog, Duke.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion G. Hannigan Golebiewski, who died July 19, 1994; two infant children; and a sister, Florence Miklusak.

<B>Golebiewski</B> — Friends of Henry "Hank" Golebiewski, who died Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, Route 8, Glade Mills, with Rev. Dan Maurer, pastor, officiating.
