Kenneth L. Christy, 45, of Butler died at 4:21 p.m. Monday at his home.

He was born Jan. 27, 1963, in Butler, the son of the late Clarence O. Christy and Edna Mae (Edes) Travaglio.

He was a former member of the West Sunbury American Legion and the Butler Elks.

He enjoyed bowling and belonged to a league. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing with his son and archery hunting.

Surviving are his mother, Edna Travaglio of Slippery Rock; two sons, Matthew Christy of West Sunbury and Kenneth Lee "KC" Christy II of Butler; his maternal grandmother, Edna B. Edes of Slippery Rock; two half-sisters, Mrs. Rich (Nancy) Gray of Slippery Rock and Mrs. Harvey (Shirley) Scott of Butler; and a brother, Frank D. Christy of Las Vegas, Nev.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather and a half-brother.
