Wanda F. Hornbeck

Wanda F. Hornbeck, 79, of Hilliards passed away at 4 a.m. Thursday at her residence following a short illness.

She was born Sept. 19, 1928, in Hilliards and was the daughter of the late Earl C. Hutchison and Kathryn Mae Smith Hutchison.

She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

She retired in 1994 from the federal government, where she had worked for Social Security and the Office of Personnel Management.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Carmen (Carol) Marterella of Boyers; one brother, Detmar Hutchison of Hillards; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Steve (Elizabeth) Winget of Cranberry Township; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Patrick Leonard, who died June 28, 1959, and her second husband, Robert Hornbeck, who died Feb. 28, 1977. Two sisters, Jean Campbell and Dixie West, also preceded her in death.

<B>HORNBECK</B> — Friends of Wanda F. Hornbeck, who died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. A blessing service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Father James Bedillion, of the St. Alphonsus Parish, officiating. Burial will be in the Rosewood Cemetery.The family suggests memorial donations be made to VNA Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.
