Carolyn Putney Dunbar Goodloe, 85, of Cabot died Friday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Sept. 2, 1923, in Buckingham County, Va., she was the daughter of W. L. and Nannie Nuckols Putney.

She was the owner of Friendly Shop Antiques in Richmond, Va. She enjoyed reading, antiquing, and discussing history and politics.

Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca (David Swenson) Dunbar of Butler; a grandson, Daniel Swenson of Butler; two sisters, Winfrey Russell of Buckingham, Va. and Nancy Thompson of Richmond, Va.; and a brother, Houston Putney of Arizona.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Wesley Dunbar, in 1974; her second husband, Charles Goodloe, in 1990; and a brother, Reid Putney.
