Edwin F. Langer of Wexford and Cranberry Township died Saturday.

He was a member of the Cranberry Lions Club, the American Legion Post 161 of Wexford and the Knights of Columbus Our Lady of Olives Council.

He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps.

He was the beloved husband of Betty Jane (Adams) Langer; and loving father of Thomas E. Langer (Carol), Patti Haake, Raymond M. Langer (Carol), Nancy Rezzetano (Dru) and John D. Langer (Melissa). Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was the brother of the late William, Francis, Regis, Bernadine King and Alfred Langer.

Langer, who died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY</B>, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, 724-772-8800. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10. a.m. Wednesday at St. Ferdinand Church.Contributions may be made to the St. Ferdinand Church Building Fund.
