Grossman

Norma C. Grossman, 85, formerly of Branchton and Harrisville, passed away at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday at Orchard Manor.

She was born July 19, 1923, in Branchton. She was the daughter of the late James Bell and Edith Hogg Bell.

She was a former member of the Harrisville United Methodist Church and had been employed in the housekeeping department at Slippery Rock University.

She is survived by one daughter, Debra Abbott of Grove City; two sons, Dennis Grossman of Harrisburg and Donald Grossman of Harrisville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Grant Grossman, who died in 1995. One sister and two brothers also preceded her in death.

<B>GROSSMAN</B> — Friends of Norma C. Grossman, who died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Lewis of Branchton Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Slippery Rock Cemetery.
