Helen L. Cook, 72, of Butler passed away Thursday after a long illness.

She was born in Harrisville, W.Va., July 1, 1936, to G. Omer and Lila Berdine Morris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Cook.

She is survived by two brothers, David O. Morris of Butler and Paul C. Morris of Albuquerque, N.M.; three children, Timothy (and Sarah) Cook of Centerville, Ohio, Pamela (and William) Smith of Cedar, Mich., and Linda (and Larry) Eaton of Christiansburg, Va.; seven grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
