Jane C. Criswell Moran, 90, of Gibsonia, Pine Township, died Wednesday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Pine Township, June 20, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John Russell and Portia Whittenbaugh Criswell.

She was a retired nurse anesthetist for Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh and was a member of the Cross Roads Presbyterian Church in Gibsonia.

She was the beloved sister of Elizabeth Young of Longwood at Oakmont, and she also is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Barbara Criswell of Uniontown and Bernice Schardt of McMurray.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony L. "Jack" Moran, who she married Sept. 29, 1951, and who died Oct. 19, 1997; three brothers, and two sisters.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Stephen Cramer, pastor of Cross Roads Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. John Campbell, officiating.
