Snyder

Yvonne A. Snyder, 70, of Portman Road died Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born Jan. 26, 1938, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Agnes Loll Pistorius.

Yvonne was a homemaker and mother and grandmother.

She lived in Florida for over 40 years and formerly worked as a waitress in the Fort Lauderdale area for 26 years.

She was a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She also was a member of the Women's Council at St. Peter's Church.

Her husband, John H. "Jack" Snyder, whom she married Oct. 3, 1987, survives her. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kelly Conerty of Englewood, Fla., and Mrs. Gary (Debbie) Climan of Kennesaw, Ga.; three sons, Terry Conerty and his wife, Kathleen, of Butler, Mike Snyder of Sabastian, Fla., and David Snyder of Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren, Shane Conerty, Mrs. Mark (Erica) Robinson and Harrison Climan; and a sister, Maxine Geibel of Butler. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

Her sister, Mary A. Michel, preceded her in death Feb. 14, 2008.

Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
