John Sipos
John Sipos, 94, of Maple Grove Drive, Butler, died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 10, 1914, in Aurora, Ill., he was the son of John and Theresa Puskas Sipos.
Mr. Sipos was a veteran of the Army during World War II.
He worked as a coal miner for 10 years. He then worked as a machinist for Timken Bearing in Pittsburgh and he had also worked as a short-order cook.
Surviving are his brother, Joseph Sipos of Butler; his sister, Mrs. Flora Bertolasio of Jennerstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Four brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
<B>SIPOS — </B>Friends of John Sipos, who died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Gregory Long, pastor of St. Anthony Antiochian Orthodox Church, officiating.Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
