Richard K. Pracht, 74, a Cranberry Township resident since 1969, died Sunday morning at North Hills Passavant Hospital.

Mr. Pracht, a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, served in the 65th Armored Field Artillery Battalion from 1954 to 1956.

He married his beloved wife, Joan, in 1959 and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1992.

He was the beloved husband of 50 years of Joan (Keenan) Pracht; father of Richard J. Pracht (Donna) of Atlanta, Ga., Craig Pracht (Tina) of Valencia, Glenn Pracht (Leasa) of Butler and Noreen (Pracht) D'Appollonio (Anthony) of Port Vue; grandfather of Erich Pracht, Nicholas Pracht, Rachel Pracht and Kevin Pracht; and son of the late Herbert and Helen Pracht.

<B>PRACHT </B>— Friends and relatives of Richard K. Pracht, who died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home</B>, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
