Beiter

Mrs. Donna L. Beiter, 63, of Sharpsville passed away at 6:40 a.m. Saturday while in the company of family members at the Sharon Regional Health System, Sharon. Mrs. Beiter is formerly of Freeport.

Donna was born in Freeport, Aug. 4, 1945, the daughter of the late Donald and Elzina (Jordan) Hartman.

She was a member of Assembly of God Chapel on the Hill Church, Emlenton.

Donna was an avid golfer. She was the past LPGA president at the Oak Tree Country Club in West Middlesex, and she was a member of the Mercer Ladies Golf League.

Donna is survived by her husband of 45 years, Otto Beiter; a son, David (Karen) Beiter of Brandon, Fla.; her daughter, Janice (Jason) Steiner of Grove City; and four sisters, Genevieve Klingensmith of Allison Park, Freda Bowman of Slickville, Naomi (Leonard) Lecce of New Kensington and Carol Denace of Irwin. She also is survived by her five grandchildren, Matthew Beiter, Patrick (Becky) Beiter, Brigette (Larry) Smith, Brooke McCall and Michael Otto Steiner; and four great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Evan Beiter and Jalen and Mackenzie Smith.

She is preceded by her two sisters, Norma Glenn and Dorothy Hartman.

Beiter, who died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, are invited to call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Redmond Funeral Home</B>, 524 High St., Freeport. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. James Callahan of the Allison Park Assembly of God officiating.
