Jackowski

Betty L. Jackowski, 75, of Connoquenessing Township, Evans City, died Tuesday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Bute, Fayette County, July 8, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Josephine Kozak.

She was a homemaker and a Catholic.

Surviving are two daughters, Denise Bennett and her husband, Brad, of Mars and Kristina Schweiger in North Carolina; three sons, Frank, Steven and Jason Jackowski, all of Evans City; her grandchildren, Shawn, Bryan and Shannon Bennett and Ricky Schweiger; her great-grandchildren, Logan Bennett, Hailey Mitchell, Ciara Ott and Addyson Schweiger; and a sister, Gloria Cummins and her husband, Terrance, of Fraser, Mich.

Her husband of 56 years, William F. Jackowski, whom she married May 19, 1951, died July 2, 2007.
