Lily Belle 'Sis' Smith
Lily Belle "Sis" Smith, 93, of Cabot, formerly of Butler, died at 2:41 a.m. Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospice.
She was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Butler, the daughter of the late Harry Edward Smith and the late Hazel (Troutman) Smith.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, where she belonged to Three Tea, Missionary Society, and the Friendly Bible Class.
She enjoyed gardening and flowers.
She retired from the Paradise Shop and had worked at the Diana Shop and the Fashion Shop.
Surviving are a brother, H. Emerson Smith of Butler; two nieces, Mrs. Robert R. (Bonnie D.) Saul of Butler and Linda S. Boyer of Harrisburg; seven great-nephews, Derek, Jeremy, and Capt. Mark Boyer, Reuben Pink, Jesse Smith and Robert Jr. and Nathan Saul.
She was preceded in death by her nephew, Gary E. Smith; and a sister-in-law, Viola C. Smith.
<B>SMITH</B> — A memorial service for Lily Belle "Sis" Smith, who died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., with the Rev.
