Paul Daniel Vesely, 81, of Bellevue died suddenly Saturday of natural causes.

He was a member of the U.S. Navy and proudly served in World War II and the Korean War.

Before retirement, Paul spent his life working for the federal government, including the FAA for the final years.

He was the son of the late Adolph and Lillian Sindelar Vesely.

He was the beloved brother of the late Harriet Albina Vesely Bearse and the late Alfred Vesely; uncle of Pamela A. and Darrell A. (Doris L.) Bearse and Chantel M. Skelley; and cousin of Melvin Vesely, Patricia and William Sindelar and Sue Leathen, Jo Anne Penberthy, and Thomas Trzil and family. Also surviving is family friend Mary Ann Vesely.
