David A. Woods, 93, of Sarver died Wednesday at his home.

He was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Ohio.

He was a teacher for the Tarentum and New Kensington high schools.

Surviving are two sons, David A. Woods III and Hal D. Woods.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, Marion E. Woods, who died Jan. 27, 2006.
