Alberta M. Krestel, 88, of Ellwood City died Wednesday at Ellwood City Hospital.

Born Jan. 18, 1920, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Neely) Rape.

Mrs. Krestel was a member of the St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at her cottage in Rose Point along the Slippery Rock Creek.

She is survived by three sisters, Helen Staggers of Ellwood City, Ethel Black of Beaver Falls and Jean Thompson of Ellwood City. She also is survived by her sister-in-law, Ann Rape of Zelienople, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Krestel, and three brothers, Raymond, Ralph and Kenneth Burnett Rape.
