Kirk S. Henery
Kirk S. Henery, 39, of Kerr Avenue, Emlenton, died at 5:08 p.m. Wednesday at his home after battling an extended illness.
Kirk was born Sept. 11, 1969, in Franklin. He was the son of Patricia Hassler Henery of Emlenton and the late Kay S. Henery.
Kirk attended A-C Valley High School.
He was a Methodist and worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends, who heard Kirk say many times, "It's all good."
In addition to his mother, Kirk is survived by two sons, Tyler and Landon; a sister, Marcy Campbell and her husband, Jay, of Emlenton; a brother, Dougie Henery of Polk; and two nieces, Jessica Campbell and her friend, Ben Bobbert, who also was Kirk's caretaker, and Samantha Campbell of Emlenton. Also surviving are a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, Kirk was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lois and Raldon Hassler; and his paternal grandparents, Charles and Elizabeth Henery.

Henery, who died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Hile Funeral Home Inc.</B>, Emlenton. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Sue Evans, VNA Hospice pastor, officiating.
