Arlene Schaub Blinn
Arlene Catherine (Schaub) Blinn, 88, of Fombell died Sunday in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.
Born May 30, 1921, in Fombell, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Nettie (Pflugh) Schaub.
For more than 40 years, Mrs. Blinn and her husband owned and operated the Sunnyside Farm Dairy in Fombell.
She was a member of the St. John's Burry's Church, the Guiding Light Sunday School class and the Faith Circle ladies group. During her younger years, she taught the children of the church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kay O'Neill of New Galilee and Ruth (Blinn) Hardy and her husband, Bob, of Fombell; a brother, Samuel Schaub and his wife, Bertha, of New Brighton; five grandchildren, Robin, Robert "Bo," Rod, Roger and Kenneth; five step-grandchildren, Darlene, Frank, Tina, Joann and Sue; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Blinn; and four brothers, Daniel, Eugene, Clifford and Harold.
<B>BLINN </B>— Friends of Arlene Catherine (Schaub) Blinn, who died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Burry's Church, with the Rev. Michael Van Arsdale, her church pastor, officiating.
