Cindy A. Strausser, 69, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026.

She was born in Hamburg, N.Y., on Nov. 16, 1956.

Cindy was employed as a CNA/med tech. She lived her life to the fullest with strong faith.

Cindy was the wife of Jeffrey Strausser, whom she married Sept. 23, 1979; mother of David Schaffer, Christopher (Amanda) and Johnny Strausser and Jake (Jenna) Patterson; sister of Jim Schaffer; grandmother of Samantha Seekings, Jasper, Aleasha (Kaleb) Dukes-Burke and Annabelle Strausser; and great-grandmother of Haras and Winslie.

Cindy was preceded in death by her children, Sara Schaffer-Seekings and an infant child.

STRAUSSER — Family and friends of Cindy A. Strausser, who died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately.
