Blinn

Arlene Catherine (Schaub) Blinn, 88, of Fombell died Sunday in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

Born April 30, 1921, in Fombell, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Nettie (Pflugh) Schaub.

For more than 40 years, Mrs. Blinn and her husband owned and operated the Sunnyside Farm Dairy in Fombell.

She was a member of St. John's Burry's Church, the Adult Bible Sunday School class and the Faith Circle ladies group. During her younger years, she taught the children of the church.

Mrs. Blinn also enjoyed baking.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kay O'Neill of New Galilee and Ruth (Blinn) Hardy and her husband, Bob, of Fombell; a brother, Samuel Schaub and his wife, Bertha, of New Brighton; five grandchildren, Tom and Robin Nine, Bo and Michelle Hardy, Rod and Dee Dee Hardy, Roger and Valerie Hardy and Ken and Kay O'Neill; 11 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, Darlene and Lou Yates, Frank and Dee O'Neill, Tina O'Neill, Joann and Bob Haines, and Sue and Leonard Stanley; and numerous step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Blinn; and four brothers, Daniel, Eugene, Clifford and Harold.

<B>BLINN</B> — Friends of Arlene Catherine (Schaub) Blinn, who died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Additional visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John's Burry's Church, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Van Arsdale, her church pastor, officiating.
