David W. Altman Sr.
David W. Altman Sr., 73, of Evans City died Saturday afternoon at his home.
Born June 13, 1936, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Gloria Altman and the stepson of William Pascuzzi.
Mr. Altman was a Baptist.
He was a firefighter for Wilkinsburg.
He was a corporal in U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He was a member of the Marine Corp. League Detachment 743, Butler.
He was a member of the Harmony Lodge 429 F&AM.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Baird Altman, who he married April 24, 1955; a son, David W. (Heidi) Altman of Harmony; a brother, Dennis Pascuzzi of Churchill; two grandchildren, Brittany and Blake Altman of Harmony; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Miles Baird, Mary Jo Natali, Debra LaMagdeleine, Josephine Tipping and John "Jack" Baird.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Pascuzzi.
<B>ALTMAN</B> — Friends and relatives of David W. Altman Sr., who died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 114 Spring St., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. R.
