Elsie Roscoe Rodgers
Elsie (Roscoe) Rodgers of Cranberry Township, formerly of Liverpool and London, England, passed very peacefully in the presence of her caregiving family and under the most gentle and caring hands of Good Samaritan Hospice.
She was embraced by God to be one of His brightest stars to shine in heaven on Wednesday. She had suffered more than seven years with non-cureable Pick's Disease.
We are very deeply saddened by her departure here on earth, but are comforted knowing she was welcomed in heaven by her parents, James and Elsie.
She is survived by her loving and caregiving husband of more than 50 years, James Rodgers. She was the beloved Mum to Gary (Mary Lou) Rodgers of Upper St. Clair, Karen (Christopher Martin) Rodgers of Sherborn, Mass., and David (Lori) Rodgers of Lexington, Ky. She was a loving Nana to Keegan, Jillian and Mackenzie Rodgers, William and Eva Martin and Abbey, Claudia and Benjamin Rodgers. Also surviving are a sister, Sylvia (David) Baker of Hailsham, England, and a brother, Stanley (Maureen) Roscoe of Welling, Kent, England.
