Vera Bennett
Vera Bennett, 55, of 942 Lee Ave., Farrell, passed away peacefully at 8:15 a.m. Thursday at her home after an extended illness. She lived most of her life in New York.
Born June 27, 1954, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Elsie (Ridley) Boofer and the late Benjamin Boofer.
She attended Frontier High School in New York and was a former member of the Shenango Valley Church of God, Hermitage. Vera was a member of the Farrell Moose Lodge Ladies Chapter 84.
She enjoyed crocheting, bingo, dancing and especially playing Skippo with her family.
Vera loved her family and friends and enjoyed life.
Surviving are her companion, Richard Chambers of Hamburg, N.Y.; a brother, Joseph Boofer and his wife, Betty, of Lakeview, N.Y.; and a sister-in-law Mary Toth of Kennerdale; Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly; and her cat, Silver.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nichole Marie Bennett; a sister, Elsie Mae Boofer; and brother, William Boofer.
