Freeport, Butler bowlers roll

Freeport's varsity bowling team continued to post monstrous scores Wednesday while sweeping a match against Franklin Regional.

The Yellowjacket boys won, 5-2, as Mark Livingston rolled games of 279, 230 and 214 for a 723 series. Issiac Spencer rolled a 240 game and 605 series. Blake Olson contributed a 224 game and 581 series while Tyler Williams had a 200 game.

Freeport's girls claimed a 7-0 win as Julia Cummings rolled games of 227, 204 and 246 for a 677 series. Mackensie Livingston had a 236 game and 621 series.

- Butler swept Seneca Valley by 7-0 scores Wednesday.

Brock Hepler rolled a 253 game and 639 series for the Golden Tornado boys. Rocco Rice added a 587 series with a high game of 218. The Tornado improved to 4-1 on the season.

Jason Hartenstein paced the Raiders (3-3) with a 223 game and 573 series.

Kelsee McConnell led the Butler girls (5-0) with a 204 game and 531 series. Lauren Bash contributed a 531 series.
