Ford Motor Co. said Tuesday it was recalling 26,400 trucks in North America because the front passenger and center seat belts might not be angled in the correct position relative to the seat.

The recall applies to F-650 and F-750 trucks from model years 2011 to 2013, and 2015. The vehicles were made in the Escobedo Assembly Plant in Mexico between Feb. 14, 2011, and April 28 of this year. Nearly all these trucks, — 25,941 — are in the U.S., and 417 are in Canada.

The Dearborn, Mich.-based company said in a statement it was developing a fix for the problem as quickly as possible.

Ford said it was not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue.

PITTSBURGH — American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) today reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $33.3 million.The Pittsburgh-based company said it had profit of 17 cents per share.The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 12 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 14 cents per share.The teen clothing retailer posted revenue of $797.4 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $762.4 million.
