Joyce Cook
Joyce Cook, 80, of Butler died at 2 a.m. Wednesday at the Sunnyview Home.
Born Nov. 22, 1927, in Butler, she was a daughter of Walter and Margaret Hackett Mahood.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Cook had owned and operated the Red Garter Saloon and Cook's Market.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John (Leslie) Book of Butler and Mrs. George (Jac-E) Reiser of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren, Taylor and Hunter Reiser, Bart and Judd Covert, and Nathan Book; and a sister, Barbara Joan Brock of Evans City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde L. Cook, who died Dec. 22, 1996; five brothers, and three sisters.
