Bertha Sidebottom
Bertha Mae Grinnell Sidebottom, 86, of Zelienople, formerly of St. Cloud, Fla., died Tuesday at the Creek Meadows Senior Guest Haus, Franklin Township, Beaver County.
Born July 9, 1924, in Laurelton, Union County, she was the daughter of George and Edna (Keister) Gutelius.
Mrs. Sidebottom was an active member at her church in St. Cloud, Fla.
She had owned and operated a beauty shop in eastern Pennsylvania. Mrs. Sidebottom had also been a licensed practical nurse at the Youth Development Center in Warrendale and a social worker at Torrance State Hospital in Westmoreland County.
She is survived by three children, Jay Grinnell and his wife, Patti, of Harmony, Kay Grinnell and her husband, Jeff, of Hilton Head, S.C., and Pete Grinnell and his wife, Lonna, of Windermere, Fla.; a brother, George W. Gutelius Jr.; a sister, Elizabeth Gunnsalles of Orlando, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Nina Grinnell Roman, Anthony Grinnell, Jackson, Riley and Madison Grinnell. She also is survived by her step-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Grinnell; her second husband, Dana Sidebottom; and many brothers and sisters.
