Ruth Frances Stewart, 86, of Butler passed away at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday at her home.

She was born Feb. 25, 1924, in Butler, the daughter of the late David F. Stewart and Irene (Bruner) Stewart.

Ruth had been an analyst for a brokerage firm in Kansas City, Mo.

Surviving are three sisters, Elizabeth Osche of Elizabeth, Pa., Helen Heasley of Butler and Dorothy (James) Graham of Rye, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Scott, and a brother, David Stewart.
