Knights' boys, girls sweep Yough

Ryan Lang's trey with less than a minute left in overtime gave Knoch the lead for good in a 60-55 boys basketball win over Yough Thursday at the Kiski Area Holiday Classic.

The Knights (3-6) also received 16 points from Keagan Fraser, and 12 apiece from Gasparo Porco and Jacob Stallsmith.

Porco's tally included four treys. KNOCH 60

North Catholic 77, Franklin 60 — Matt Gregor knocked down half of the Trojans' dozen treys in this win at the Butler Tournament.

North entered the intermission with a three-point edge before posting 30 points in the third frame.

Gregor paced North with 22 points, while Max Hurray added 16.

Andrew Maddalon and Max Rottmann both poured in 13.

The victory improves North's record to a spotless 6-0.
