The South Butler Community Library will have a few events to cap off this week.

There will be a diamond painting event at 1 and 6 p.m. Thursday, July 9, which is a free crafting workshop for all ages. Registration is required and can be completed by calling 724-352-4810.

There also will be a reptile show that day, starting at 10:30 a.m., which is free and requires no registration.

On Saturday, July 11, chess master Gabriel Petesch will have a simultaneous exhibition, where spectators are welcome. Youth and adult players are invited to play against Petesch, and audiences can walk in to view the matches, starting at 4 p.m.
