FBI Pittsburgh Teen Academy accepting applicants
High school students have an opportunity to find out what a career with the Federal Bureau of Investigations is like.
The FBI’s Pittsburgh field office is encouraging local high school students entering their junior or senior year to enroll in the 2026 FBI Pittsburgh Teen Academy program. The academy is a one-day, exclusive look inside the FBI’s world.
“Students have the chance to discover how evidence response teams investigate crime scenes, watch as special agent bomb technicians safely disarm explosives, learn about tracing cryptocurrency linked to international criminal organizations and understand why online safety is critical in the 21st century,” a news release said.
Current high school juniors or seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who live in Western Pennsylvania or West Virginia are invited to apply at https://www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field-offices/pittsburgh/community-outreach.
