Sandra Stoner
Sandra “Sandy” E. Stoner, 83, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
She was born in Cabot on June 7, 1943, daughter of the late Harold Pflueger and Wilma (Diller) Lang.
Sandy graduated from Knoch High School and was employed at Penn United for 21 years until retirement.
Sandy was known for being outgoing, friendly, optimistic and always awesome. She loved to bake, travel and spend time with her family and friends. Sandy was always dedicated to her family, friends and her faith.
She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and very active in its Mary’s Circle Support and Prayer Group.
Sandy is survived by her daughter, Julie Stoner; and her siblings, Harold Pflueger, Carol Johnson, Christine Skelley, Rachel Meissner, Jeffrey Lang and Glenn Lang. She also leaves behind 17 nieces and nephews and multiple grandnieces and grandnephews, whom she adored and who were such a big part of her life.
Along with her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her daughter, Staci Turner; her siblings, Wayne Pflueger and Ernest Lang; and her longtime companion, Carl “Peck” Wise, in 2014.
STONER — All arrangements for Sandra “Sandy” E. Stoner, who died Tuesday, June 30, 2026, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot. Family and friends are encouraged to bring handwritten memories of Sandy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandy’s name to the following charities that were close to her heart: Compassion International at compassion.com to support children in need, or HAVIN: Helping All Victims in Need at havinpa.org to support domestic violence and sexual assault victims.
