Gerald “Jerry” Moore, 72, of Butler, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026.

He was born in Butler on Jan. 20, 1954, son of the late Frank Jr. and Corrine (Green) Moore.

Jerry was known for being a loving father and loved a good joke. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Jerry was the beloved husband of Barbara (Cooley) Moore, since their marriage on Oct. 30, 1981; father of Lindsay (Kevin) Hill and Anthony (Arlene) Moore; and grandfather of Hayden Moore.

Along with his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his two brothers.
