Lynn Himmelwright
The family of Lynn Ann Himmelwright, 58, of Butler, sadly announces her passing on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
She was born Oct. 3, 1967, in Sewickley, Pa., and is the daughter of Sarah “Sally” Russo and Gary P. Himmelwright Sr.
She was a 1986 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.
She was most recently employed at Newhaven Court at Clearview in Butler as a resident wellness associate, where she was a truly dedicated and valued employee and made many friends with her co-workers and especially the residents she cared for daily.
Lynn was always working on her home, keeping it tidy, caring for her plants and making updates to the property. She spent much of her time outside, tending the garden and feeding the birds or sitting at the campfire. She enjoyed Lernerville Speedway and the Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Above all, she cherished her family and loved spending time with them.
In addition to her parents, Lynn is survived by her stepfather, Regis Russo; her son, Marc Himmelwright and his girlfriend, Bobbie; her brother, Gary Himmelwright Jr. and his wife, Colleen; and her sister, Markette Himmelwright and her partner, Christine.
She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Benson; and her boyfriend, William “Billy” Spiegel, who was her best friend and without a doubt, true love.
