Bauer

Keith B. Bauer, 67, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

He was born in Butler on May 26, 1959, son of the late William and Lexie (Reitler) Bauer.

Keith was employed as a truck driver for Throwers Trucking for 30 years.

He enjoyed gardening, farming, watching Pirates baseball, collecting coins and antiques and enjoyed having a drink at Cheers with his friends. Keith loved his family, especially, his grandchildren, niece and nephew.

Keith is survived by his children, Rachel (Kalyn) Rice and Keith (Tera Himes) Bauer. He was the grandfather of Meredith and Sawyer Rice; brother of Kevin Bauer, Kirk (Barb) Bauer and Kelly (Jeff Schaffer) Adams; and uncle of Ali (Matt) Dunn and Asa (Shay) Adams.

BAUER — All arrangements for Keith B. Bauer, who died Tuesday, June 30, 2026, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at The Field House Restaurant, 911 N. Pike Road, Cabot.
