What I originally stated was that Clinton launched cruise missle attacks on bin Laden's base in Afghanistan and he was strongly criticize by Republicans in congress for doing so at the time. That's the facts and you acted like I was making this up. If you pay attention to what I've been trying to say on this forum, you'd know that my goal is not to attack Republicans but to set straight some of the misinformation that I read here everyday - usually from the same few people. Whatever argument someone presents - Republican, Democrat or anything else should be based on facts; not just a lot of stuff that one has made up or read from one source without double or triple checking it. You used the typical Republican tactic of claiming my factual statement was false without any basis. I believe you stated something like "What kind of fairyland do you live in?" Very typical right-wing stuff; present lies as truth, paint the truth as lies. I should listen to Rush? You mean Rush Limbaugh? That guy makes it up as he goes along. Ebery one of his shows is filled with lies, distortions and half-truths. Why do you think he always repeats "This is the truth." It's because he's lying. As long as he keeps saying it's the truth, his fans won't bother to actually look up the facts. If Republicans wish to argue their case, fine. Just stick to the facts (real facts). Then, if the Dems vs. Repubs debates are factual, it's just a matter of opinion and personal preference. Aside from that issue, a few of the folks who rant on here aren't Dems or Rebubs, they're just whakos who make no sense at all. Lastly, I regret that I confused Amesh's name for a Middle-Eastern name when its origin is Indian. However, his pro-Iraq war argument still falls flat. When Iraq invaded Kuwait, everyone was screaming that it was a violation of international law, which it was. Our invasion of Iraq violated the very same international law. Our government supports international law when it's on our side but ignores it when it's not.
