I agree with the sentiments expressed in Bill Neel's letter to the editor in which he appropriately criticizes State Representative Daryl Metcalfe for his recent comments regarding Christianity and other religions. Mr. Neel quite rightly casts Representative Metcalfe as someone whose ideas the Founders would have found inimical to their interests. It is unfortunate that Metcalfe likely considers himself a champion of the Founders, either out of sheer ignorance or evasion--both of which render him unfit for office in this nation.
